You can choose which payment arrangements you prefer: either RID (direct debit from your bank/postal current account), or postal banking slips.
RID is the solution that guarantees you'll be regularly on time with your payments, and so avoid any nuisance or unpleasantness - and you won't have to go out to pay, or lose any time.
If, on the other hand, you prefer to make the repayments with postal banking slips [bollettini postali], you need to remember (if you are a new customer) to include another form with your documentation: the "Proof of ID for Distance Selling Purposes, signed by you and stamped and countersigned by the person who certifies your ID.
